The 1KW 2450MHZ microwave generator is mainly composed of 1KW 2450MHZ switch mode microwave power supply, 1KW 2450MHZ magnetron and corresponding microwave parts. It can provide a cost-effective microwave, suitable for industrial microwave heating,microwave drying equipment, medical sterilization equipment , UV disinfection, microwave extraction experiment equipment, etc.
A. Parts description
♣Microwave power supply: Provide a stable DC high voltage to the magnetron
♣Magnetron: Microwave power supplies power to it to generate and emit microwaves. There are two types: air-cooling and water-cooling for different working condition.
♣Cooling fan (optional): Cooling magnetron. The fan must keep working when the magnetron is working, otherwise the magnetron will be easily damaged. If it is a water-cooling magnetron, it needs to use circulating suitable water for cooling.
♣Temperature protection switch (optional): Measure the temperature of the outer wall of the magnetron, and automatically disconnect when the temperature reaches about 135°C. It can be connected in series to the power supply, or it can be connected separately as an indication.
♣DC high-voltage line: the connection line between the magnetron and the microwave power supply. Make sure to plug it tightly with the magnetron terminal when using it.
♣Excitation cavity: Lead the microwave into the material cavity. The excitation cavity must be tightly connected with the magnetron and the material cavity with no gap.Otherwise microwave leakage will happen.
B. Circuit connection description
1. The fan power cord can be connected to the input end of the microwave power supply, or it can be pulled separately. It must be ensured that the fan runs normally when the power supply is working. In work sites with poor air-cooling and heating dissipation conditions, it is recommended to use a water-cooling magnetron.
2. The power distribution is single-phase 220V or other single-phase voltages, namely live wire (L), neutral wire (N), and ground wire (L). The power supply specification is 1.5mm2,and the power supply,magnetron,the waveguide must be well grounded separately,otherwise the magnetron will not work.
3. The temperature protection switch is optiona, preventing from the magnetron overheating damage. It can be connected in series to the live line of the power supply, or it can be connected separately as an indication. Some microwave power supplies also have the input ports for the temperature protection switch.
